Here at NHA HQ, we firmly believe in the power of humour to boost morale, particularly in the post-apocalyptic world we live in today after the miseries created by George W. Bush and New Labour.
However, satire, the second worst form of wit after sarcasm, as we all know, has no place in politics. It is cheap, arrogant, negative, and downright naughty; it belittles the fine work we do here at the NHA, and it must be stopped at once.
We will therefore without delay ban all forms of this humorous poison that has infected our nation.
“That’s all very well,” we hear you say, “but what will fill all those holes in our TV and radio schedules?” The NHA are currently involved in very exciting talks with Havers Media to replace these awful shows with such forgotten comedy talent as Jasper Carrott, Little and Large, and Russ Abbott. Exciting times indeed!
